One of the main ZHyRON outputs will be presented on the theorethical point of view in a key international conference.

CIRCE will showcase its latest work on the theoretical development and validation of multiphysics models for hydrogen thermal reduction at the 12th International Conference on Sustainable Solid Waste Management – CYPRUS 2025, held in Paphos, Cyprus, from 25–28 June 2025.

The presentation—scheduled within this flagship event featuring over 650 abstracts—will focus on CIRCE’s cutting-edge simulations and model frameworks developed under the ZHyRON projects. This simulations optimize hydrogen-driven reduction of solid waste materials through a multiphysics lens. Attendees will gain insight into the rigorous validation methods underpinning these models and their potential for scaling to real-world industrial applications.

International Conference on Sustainable Solid Waste Management is renowned for fostering collaboration among scientists, policymakers, industry experts, and local authorities, addressing a wide spectrum of topics such as biological treatment, waste-to-energy technologies, recovery of critical raw materials, and emerging green technologies like hydrogen processing.
