Driving circularity in steelmaking: ZHyRON brings its innovative approach to by-product valorisation to a major international metallurgy symposium.

ZHyRON will take part in Our Common Future in Metallurgy – from Challenges to Opportunities, a key international symposium held from 19 to 21 April 2026 in Antwerp, Belgium, to honour Maurits van Camp, a pioneering figure in metallurgical recycling.

The event will gather leading experts in extractive metallurgy and recycling, addressing both fundamental and applied research, as well as innovation, implementation, and education.

A representative from CRM Group, ZHyRON’s Belgian partner, will present the project during the poster session, alongside a short pitch. This participation offers a valuable opportunity to position ZHyRON within the evolving landscape of sustainable metallurgy, highlighting its contribution to circular approaches and next-generation resource efficiency while engaging with key players from academia and industry.

Follow ZHyRON’s activities to stay updated on upcoming events and project results.
